One of the most loved endurance events in the west gets new singletrack for 2010 and an increased rider limit. Fifteen and Still Single...
Fruita Singletrack has been the draw of the Fruita Fat Tire scene for a decade and a half as we rapidly approach the 2010 edition of the Fruita Fat Tire Fest and the sixteenth season of Over the Edge and Fruita mountain biking is well under way. As the magic of Fruita somehow lives on we have taken your advice to heart and made the Festival program even more simple; you can come and join the fun without any hassle and if you choose not to register, we are OK with that, come and play and have a blast as we look for 70 degree sunshine and the great vibe you all bring to this event year after year. If you choose to sign up for our "VIP Pass" you will be invited to our Thursday eve VIP Party where food and beer some secret surprises will be free to all VIP's and Expo Vendors and Sponsors; its a great time to mingle with the inner circle of Fruita Fat Tire over some great Mexican food and some New Belgium Beer; VIP's will also receive the event socks, other swag, local VIP offers, a couple free beers at the parties and only VIP folks will be int he big prize drawings for the prizes too big and too expensive to throw at the crowd during band breaks. Friday night I am so excited to bring a new band to Fruita, the Dry River Yacht Club from Tempe AZ is gonna dazzle your mind and make your body move on Friday eve in the park. Saturday we are glad to have our fest best favorite band of so many; Riveter is back again and will flirt and flit their way across the stage until 10pm Saturday May 1st. So no matter how you choose to roll; "VIP" or "just drop in", we'll see you here in short order to help us through down one heck of a party in honor of one long lived Singletrack and good times tradition. Here's to fifteen years...
